THIS CONTRACT MUST BE SIGNED BY ORG PRESIDENT, TREASURER AND ADVISOR. CONTRACT MUST BE PHYSICALLY TURNED IN TO SGA OR EMAILED.

Process begins September 2, 2025 at 8:00am.

Funding Contract & Budget Application Due (without penalty) - October 31, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.

Funding Contract & Budget Application submitted November 1, 2025 thru November 30, 2025 WILL BE PENALIZE 20%. ****NO APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER NOVEMBER 30, 2025****

Funding Interview Sign up starts November 1, 2025 at 8:00am thru January 9, 2026. NO PENALTY.

Funding Interview Sign up from January 10, 2026 thru January 18, 2026 WILL BE PENALIZED 20%. ****NO ORGANIZATION MAY SIGN UP AFTER JANUARY 18, 2026****

Required

The Texas Tech Student Organization has applied for Student Government Association funding for the 2026-27 fiscal year.

In requesting these funds, the aforementioned organization, the undersigned, and their predecessors and successors in interest (hereafter referred to as "we") agree to abide by any restrictions and requirements placed on them by the Student Government Association or its Senate committee on Budget and Finance or Texas Tech University.

In addition, we have read and fully understand the current Funding Regulations Handbook, which contains all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures governing the use of SGA funding, and agree to abide by the policies and procedures stated therein. Should our organization receive funding, we realize that while in office, we will be held responsible for spending our allocation in accordance with the Funding Regulations Handbook and TTU Operating Policy. We understand that attendance at the Funding Training in September is mandatory for our organization to use any funds allocated to us through this process. We understand that we must receive an updated copy of the Funding Regulations Handbook from the Student Government Association website (www.sga.ttu.edu) in the fall of 2025. Two officers must attend Funding Training which starts September 2026. Failure to attend the Funding Training may result in the withholding of our funds for the fiscal year 2026-27.

We understand our failure to follow these or any additional restrictions, requirements, or regulations promulgated by Texas Tech University or the Student Government Association, may result in our organization losing its current and future funding and assuming full liability for any and all expenditures, regardless of whether the Student Government Association has reimbursed our organization for prior expenditures.

We also agree to make future officers and/or advisors aware of the policies and procedures when we leave office to ensure the continued proper use of this funding.
